Taking photos of an eclipse is much harder than I anticipated. Add to the difficulty that it was freezing cold and windy enough to blow over my tripod made for an interesting photo session. Thankfully the weather cooperated for most of the time, no rain and only clouds here and there. All pics taken at 200mm. Click an image to make it larger.

About this blog
I have been interested in photography since I was 14 and went on a whale watching trip. Took pics with my dad's SLR from the early 80s and I was hooked. When my wife and I found out we were expecting our first child, this motivated me to learn all that I could about photography. I bought a DSLR, a couple of lenses, a flash and a few filters and have never looked back. On this blog I plan to share some of the photos that I've taken. I enjoy taking pictures of people, cars, flowers, sunsets, and birds. Welcome to my photo blog! Marcus Cooke photography photos pictures
